NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Services Companies ) has announced that the MD & CEO of Mindtree, Mr Krishnakumar Natarajan is the new Chairman of the non profit trade association of IT and BPO industry. NASSCOM's Executive Council has appointed him as the Chairman for the year 2013-14. Mr Krishnakumar, previously worked as a member of NASSCOM’s Executive Council and took over the new role from 8th April, 2013. Nasscom has also appointed R Chandrasekaran, Group Chief Executive (Technology and Operations) of Cognizant as its Vice-Chairman for the new fiscal.
