Vijaya Bank - POs - 894 Posts

Vijaya Bank, one of the oldest Nationalized banks of India has anounced notification for its 894 Probationary Officers' recruitment. It is inviting applications from the applications from eligible graduates who have qualified IBPS CWE for POs with score 138 and above (24+ marks in every area) for General and 113 and above (21+ marks in ever area) for SC/ST/OBC/PWD.

United Nations Organization (UNO) - Part II

International Court of Justice (ICJ) :

Headquarters : The Hague (Netherlands)

Membership : Consists of 15 Judges and one Chief Justice who are elected by the General Assembly and the Security Council for a term of nine years. The chief justice term is 3 years.

Functions : 
  • It gives advisory opinion on legal matters to the bodies and special agencies of the UNO and considers the legal disputes brought before them. 
  • Justice R.S. Pathak, former Chief Justice of India, was elected judge of the ICJ on April 18, 1989.
    • He became the third Indian on whom this honour has been bestowed.
    • The Other two were, Justice B.N.Rao and Justice Nagendra Singh
