Miss Japan, Ikumi Yoshimatsu, won the Miss International 2012, the 52nd edition of the Miss International pageant title which was held at Okinawa, Japan on October 21, 2012. She beat 68 other beauty candidates, including Miss Philippines Nicole Schmitz, a Filipino-German beauty, who landed as among the Top 15 semi-finalists.
