India's Opener Shikhar Dhawan scores the fastest debut Test Century off 85 balls, against Australlia in 3rd test match at Mohali yesterday (16th March 2013). The 27-year-old left hander was surpassed the record of earlier fastest hundred on debut, which was in the name of Dwayne Smith of West Indies. And Dhawan also became the highest individual scorer for India on debut, beating the previous record held by Gundappa Vishwanath (137) against Australia at the Eden Gardens. He did this with 33 fours and 2 sixes and did not leave a single corner at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium (PCA) untouched.
